Job summary

Dcs Power Pte. Ltd. is seeking a maintenance technician to carry out general repair and preventive maintenance on vessels and in workshops. The role focuses on mechanical systems and requires hands-on workmanship.

You will dismantle, troubleshoot, repair or replace mechanical spare parts, perform alignment checks, reassemble components, and test equipment to ensure smooth operation. You will report progress to your supervisor after each job.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical repair on vessels preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and technical drawings.
• Willingness to work on ships and in workshops.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops.
• Dismantle and troubleshoot for mechanical defects.
• Perform repair and/or replacement of mechanical spare parts.
• Perform alignment checks and reassemble the mechanical parts.
• Perform testing of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Test run and report to superior on the job completion status.
