Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to support daily production in a high-tech environment. You will operate and monitor equipment, perform setup and parameter adjustments, and ensure rigorous quality checks across production runs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and comfort with cleanroom PPE. A path toward continuous improvement is highlighted with training on SOPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow SOPs/work instructions and quality requirements.
• Experience in semiconductors, PCB, substrate manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MES/ERP systems is a plus.

Job description

Near to Boon Lay MRT | Work Schedule: 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am

AWS + Bonus + Shift Allowance (Day Shift: $12/shift or Night Shift: $24/shift) + Islandwide Transport provided

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to support daily production activities and achieve operational targets.

· Perform equipment setup, process conversions, and parameter adjustments according to validated recipes for production runs.

· Conduct inspections, precision measurements, and quality checks to ensure products meet specified tolerances and standards.

· Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, perform basic root cause analysis, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve production disruptions.

· Carry out preventive maintenance activities, chemical analysis, and routine equipment upkeep to maintain optimal machine performance.

· Manage inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and production consumables to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

· Train and support production operators on SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures while maintaining compliance with company standards.

Key Requirements

· NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

· Experience in semiconductors, PCB, substrate manufacturing, or other high-tech manufacturing environments is advantageous.

· Good attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality requirements.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of MES and ERP systems is added value.

· Able to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with all PPE, safety, and operational requirements.

· Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).

· Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

· EHS, ISO Quality Standards, or Chemical Handling certifications will be advantageous.
