Job description

What You Will Do
  • Set-up and operate on CNC 3 or 5 axis machines.
  • Perform manual deburring, blending and general inspection.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of machines.
  • Read and follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform risk assessment and take corrective actions as well as preventive measures.
  • Maintain day to day 6S lean activities to create a safe work environment.
  • Work cross functional to support the various manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
  • Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Diploma or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 years’ experience in operate CNC or Conventional machining with general inspection skills.
  • Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the tools and equipment.
  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
  • Willing to work permanent Night Shift and overtime on need basis.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Relevant experience in 5 axis CNC machining.
  • Relevant experience in Tool setting, Zoller measurement.
  • Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
