Job summary

A leading semiconductor equipment supplier in Singapore is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to assist engineers, participate in maintenance, and ensure quality production. The ideal candidate should have a Higher NITEC in Engineering or equivalent and be detail-oriented. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided, along with tasks including working with chemicals and moving parts up to 15kg.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC/Nitec in Engineering or equivalent.
• Meticulous, keen attention to details and organized.
• Some experience working in the Semiconductor Wafer FAB Industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with their daily tasks in the factory.

Job description

Applied Micro Tech Pte Ltd, is a key supplier of critical semiconductor cleanroom equipment material. We are well established both in the local industry and international arena with offices operating in Asia. The business is now in the growth & expansion phase looking for motivated individual wanting to join us as Manufacturing Technician

Location: West (Tuas)

Responsibilities:

- Assist engineers with their daily task in the factory

- Participate in maintenance and manufacturing activities

- Assist in preventive maintenance, checking and inspection, troubleshooting, repair of Mechanical and Electrical system

- May provide support duties for one or more manufacturing processes as required.

- Maintain tools and inventories in good storage.

- Ensure that quality product is manufactured on schedule within customer requirement

- Train and guide new employees

- Complying with standards, regulations, and safe work practices

- Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Minimum Higher NITEC/Nitec in Engineering or equivalent.

- Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency.

- Meticulous, keen attention to details and organized.

- Team player & able to work independently

- Willing to learn

- Some experience working in the Semiconductor Wafer FAB Industry

- Candidates are required to move parts around of up to 15kg.
