Job summary
RN Care Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to direct a team of engineers in programming, tooling, routing, and secondary processes on a daily basis.
You will monitor production performance to hit monthly efficiency targets and maximize machine utilization, while driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives and CAPEX projects. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Precision Engineering with at least 5 years in precision machining and CAD
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial/ Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Precision Machining.
- Experience in creating manufacturing routings using an ERP system.
- Proficiency in CAD 2D/3D software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of manufacturing engineers for daily operations (programming, tooling, routing, secondary processes).
- Monitor production performance to meet monthly efficiency targets and optimize utilization of machinists and machines.
- Guide Lean Six Sigma projects to improve manufacturing processes.
- Participate in RCA for non-conforming jobs and drive issue resolution with the team.
- Maintain and update CAD plant layout as required.
- Explore new manufacturing approaches, tooling, and technologies; lead CAPEX initiatives for equipment purchases.
- Contribute to HSE initiatives including hazard/incident identification, risk assessment, and controls.
