Job description

Our client is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Process Supervisor with strong exposure to CNC rubber component manufacturing. This role involves leading a skilled team on the production floor and ensuring that output, quality, and efficiency targets are met. You’ll be involved in day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across departments like sales, design, and QA.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise production floor activities, ensuring schedules are met with minimal downtime
• Drive improvements across molding, peeling, CNC, and post-process operations
• Analyze output data using tools like Power BI to guide decisions and spot inefficiencies
• Lead troubleshooting efforts on technical issues tied to molds, surface defects, or cycle times
• Work with internal teams to optimize design feasibility and streamline routing/costing
• Uphold quality checks, process consistency, and compliance with safety protocols
• Identify cost-saving measures by addressing scrap, rework, and equipment utilization
• Mentor team members and ensure best practices are followed across shifts

Qualifications
• Higher NITEC or higher in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering
Over 5 years in a production environment, ideally within rubber molding or CNC precision components
• At least 5 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong familiarity with molding defects, tolerance management, and production tooling
• Able to coordinate across departments and communicate technical updates clearly
• Strong problem-solving mindset, able to prioritize under pressure and drive results
