Job description

Job Description:

  • Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.

  • Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.

  • Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.

  • Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.

  • Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.

  • Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.

  • Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.

  • Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Requirements:

  • Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.

  • Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5-Axis / lathe / milling etc.).

  • Able to interpret drawing and GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing)

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.

  • Team player and able to work closely with other teams on cross-functional projects.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal related skills.

  • Able to work rotating shifts.

  • Degree in engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision, Material)

  • At least 3 years’ working experience
