Job Description:
Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.
Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).
Requirements:
Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.
Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5-Axis / lathe / milling etc.).
Able to interpret drawing and GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing)
Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Team player and able to work closely with other teams on cross-functional projects.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal related skills.
Able to work rotating shifts.
Degree in engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision, Material)
At least 3 years’ working experience
