Machine Operator/ Manufacturing Specialists

Machine operators/ Manufacturing Specialists operate machines and perform process runs according to standard work instructions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Operates machine
  2. Execute beginning of shift checks and pass down information to the next shift
  3. Perform production runs according to MES (our wafer tracking system) and/or product runsheets and work instructions.
  4. Conduct SPC & update SQC for machines.
  5. Perform daily autonomous maintenance on machines.
  6. Maintain good housekeeping in the production work areas.
  7. Train and guide new operators/manufacturing specialists on:
    1. Operating the process and running the production lots in the process.
    2. Production protocol and expectations.
  8. Work with assistance engineer/process engineer to update process procedures.
  9. Assist process engineer in running engineering lots after getting approval from manufacturing engineer.
  10. Become an expert in the lithography process to guide operators.
  11. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the manufacturing engineers.

Job Requirements

  1. Must have completed vocational training in a technical field (ITE, NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  2. Working experience in semiconductors or manufacturing industry preferred.
  3. MS Office literate.
  4. Must be able to work on 12-hour rotating shifts.
