Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Systems & Quality) based in Tuas, Singapore. You will govern manufacturing quality systems to maintain cGMP compliance, lead HACCP programs, and ensure data integrity across SAP and POMS, with oversight of deviations, CAPA, change control and audits.

You will also manage inventory controls, budgets and drive cross-functional improvements, coaching the team in compliance and systems thinking.

Qualifications

6–8 years of experience in regulated manufacturing (Food, Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or similar).
Strong experience in manufacturing Quality systems, CAPA management and audit support.
Hands-on exposure to SAP, POMS, inventory controls and material usage analysis.
Experience supporting budget management and financial governance in an Operations environment.
Ability to make sound, risk-based decisions balancing quality, food safety, and cost.
Strong influencing, analytical, and communication skills.
Effective collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
Professional certifications (Quality, Food Safety, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Govern manufacturing Quality Management Systems (QMS), including deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control and audit readiness.
Ensure manufacturing compliance with cGMP, food safety regulations, corporate quality standards and data integrity requirements.
Lead manufacturing food safety systems (HACCP, PRPs), ensuring effective risk identification, control and regulatory compliance.
Monitor, trend and report quality, compliance, and food safety KPIs; identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
Act as manufacturing systems representative for internal, corporate, customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
Govern manufacturing computerized systems (e.g., SAP, POMS) and inventory processes to ensure accuracy, traceability and compliance.
Analyze material usage and inventory discrepancies, drive corrective actions in partnership with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.
Provide financial governance and budget oversight for manufacturing systems and quality activities.
Coach and mentor team members to strengthen systems thinking, compliance culture and business acumen.
Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene rules, and sanitation standards.
