Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking is seeking an Expert-level Manufacturing Partner Manager to lead procurement and supply chain activities for Networking products in a hybrid Singapore-based role.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Procurement, manage cost, lead supplier relationships, and drive strategic planning to ensure on-time, cost-effective production. The role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation ability, and the capacity to navigate fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in SCM or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry and suppliers.
  • Mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

  • Manage variety of tasks with Manufacturing Partner for Networking products.
  • Interface and lead collaborations between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partner(s).
  • Manage all product SKU costs and production release as well as material/build budget planning and spend management with Finance, Engineering and PM.
  • Quarterly cost negotiation, cost analysis and performance reviews with stakeholders.
  • Material shortage management, product cost management and Clear to Build reporting to senior management.

Job Description

HPE Aruba Networking, the leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for mobile enterprise networks, seeks a manufacturing partner manager to support supply chain activities in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

The ideal candidate possesses a combination of business experience, technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills to become involved with all levels of business operation from day-to-day tactical activities to long-term strategic planning. The role requires a proactive work ethic, analytical skills, strategic thinking, resourcefulness, multi-tasking and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage variety of tasks and responsibilities with Manufacturing Partner for Networking products
  • Interface and lead collaborations between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partner(s)
  • Manage all product SKU costs and production release as well as material/build budget planning and spend management through collaboration with Finance, Engineering and Program Management
  • Quarterly cost negotiation, cost analysis and ability to concisely conduct business and performance reviews with internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Material shortage management, product cost management and Clear to Build reporting with ability to distill information to senior management
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of material planning, potential supply risks, sole sourced impacts, component lead-time, supplier share of business, order lead time and order cancellation window and forecasting are a must
  • Strong knowledge of CM, ODM, JDM relationship management and RFQ processes
  • Comprehension of the networking industry and supply trends/challenges
  • Executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and sourcing strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Creates and utilizes supply chain and financial modeling tools
  • Meets with Stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans
  • Contract formulation, negotiation and maintenance
Experience & Skills Required
  • BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering desired
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a procurement or supply chain function
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal direction
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Expert business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.
  • Basic Project Management skills
  • Mastery in English and local language.
