Manufacturing Operations Manager

Requirements

• Oversees and directs all mechanical operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness, while leading a team to achieve production targets and maintain equipment.
• At least 10 years of working experience in Mechanical Overhaul Services.
• At least 10 years of working experience in Thermal Spray Technology.
• Able to work irregular working hours to support OEM & Jurong Island Customers.
• Able to withstand outdoor weather.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, engineers, and other personnel.
• Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical operations to meet production goals and deadlines. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Maintenance and Repair

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems. Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Budget and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets for mechanical operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction measures. Monitor and control expenses to stay within budget.

Problem Solving

Identify and resolve mechanical issues and problems. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problems. Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

Safety

Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.

Communication and Collaboration

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Represent the mechanical operations department in meetings and presentations.
