Job summary

NAM HOE METAL INDUSTRIES (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Operations Leader to oversee daily production, quality, safety and delivery targets.

You will develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement with a growing team of about 30 staff. You will ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001, WSH compliance, manage inventory and costs, and liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors and government bodies as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or diploma-equivalent in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams and coordinating across departments.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and WSH requirements; familiarity with certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and overall manufacturing performance.
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs, identify operational issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and utilities.
• Assist production floor with work processes, where required.
• Lead and manage a growing team of about 30 employees across supervisors, technicians and store staff.
• Assist to liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, certification bodies, and government agencies when required.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on business operations, including weekly submissions to Director and Assistant General Manager.
