Job summary

RMR International Private Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily production, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will lead a team of supervisors, engineers, and staff to optimize planning, production, and cost control.

You will implement Lean, 5S, and Kaizen programs, manage budgets, and coordinate with procurement, warehousing, maintenance, and sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of manufacturing or production management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and quality management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance and optimize productivity, quality, and cost.
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers, and factory staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, and sales departments.
• Manage production budgets, material usage, and inventory control.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs, and management updates.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained to minimize downtime.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to improve operational performance.
