Job description

Grow your career in the fast-expanding biotechnology industry, We are looking for a Production Manager to lead and support our manufacturing operations.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Location: Woodlands

Salary: up to $8,500 + Bonuses

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure on-time delivery, adherence to schedules, quality, yield, and other key production KPIs.
  • Identify root causes of downtime/inventory issues and implement preventive actions.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical stock checks, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Lead, train, supervise, and appraise production technicians and associates, ensuring continuous skill development.
  • Manage priorities, align resources, facilitate production meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and organizational goals.
  • Drive safety, efficiency, quality, and 6S initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Technology or related field, with medical device or life sciences instrument experience will be an added advantage.
  • 5 years in manufacturing leadership, including in a lead role with strong coaching, training, and mentoring abilities.
  • Skilled in working with complex multi-subsystem equipment (electronic, optical, lasers, fluidics, software), with knowledge of drawings/schematics a plus.
  • Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP), ECO systems, DHR, test procedures, reports, and lean manufacturing tools (DMAIC).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures, EHS standards, and safety compliance, with hands-on lean manufacturing and waste reduction experience.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused leader with excellent communication skills, able to thrive in fast-paced environments and drive world-class manufacturing culture.
