Job description

• Accountable for operations department comprising of manufacturing, material management, planning and shipment of products

• Manage and meet all key manufacturing targets such as output, quality, team cohesion and improvement activities

• Resource planning management to ensure optimal cost utilization of manpower, equipment and material resources

• Daily management of manufacturing issues and driving for resolution

• Ensure health, safety and environment hygiene are maintained

• Involve in long-term strategy for manufacturing site

• Motivate manufacturing staff and build a cohesive work environment

• Communicate with other global sites to share best practices

Requirement

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering

• 5 years of working experience familiar with managing small-scale manufacturing site with over 20 headcounts

• Proven experience in managing or comfortable to manage a small team

• Familiar with ERP system, product scale up, new product introduction

• Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing concepts
