Job summary

OWENS CORNING (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on site. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and reliability of equipment.

You will carry out scheduled checks, diagnose faults, calibrate equipment, liaise with contractors, and document maintenance activities. A diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and PLC familiarity are preferred, with 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical cert in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing, quality, safety & environment.
• Understanding of PLC programming.
• Laser safety certification (added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, environmental protection, and housekeeping in the production area in line with company policies and local guidelines.
• Perform general building and equipment maintenance repairs and services.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance checks and document results.
• Data entry and reporting on the maintenance database system.
• Manage original drawings and blueprints of the facility and equipment.
• Assist and supervise outside contractors.
• Configure, calibrate, adjust, replace or repair parts on equipment.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment independently.
• Install new or refurbished equipment and control systems.
• Source replacement parts when immediate repair isn’t possible.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
