Job summary

BD at the Tuas Plant in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to support machine operations, parameter checks, sampling inspections, and changeovers. The role includes minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

You will join a global medical technology leader, contributing to safety, quality and ISO14001 initiatives while participating in daily shift meetings and Kaizen activities for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Check and record machine/process parameters and take corrective actions to keep under control
• Perform sampling inspection of parts to ensure compliance with quality plans
• Handle disposition of non-conforming products as per quality plan
• Perform minor troubleshooting to ensure continuous machine operation
• Maintain housekeeping and clean work area for a neat environment
• Update PMS satellite with correct component lot numbers, shift output, waste and downtime
• Perform product/machine changeovers including material/tool changes and data entry
• Participate in daily shift changeover meetings to review performance
• Perform preventive maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning of machine components
• Join monthly team meetings to discuss stoppages, quality, and output
• Participate in projects like data collection on stoppages and quality
• Assist Technical Specialist in major preventive maintenance tasks
• Assist in major enhancement projects like installing modified machine parts
• Contribute toKaizen submissions, team building and safety initiatives
• Perform shift coordinating tasks including resource allocation and training
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to ISO14001 environmental accountability and safety initiatives
• Perform any other assigned tasks as required
