Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support cost and margin analysis, variance review, and close processes. You will partner with Operations and global finance teams to drive data-driven decisions and improve financial performance.

The role emphasizes weekly variance reconciliations, WIP and inventory close, and strong analytical modeling skills using BI tools.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business or operations finance preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting/finance required.
Experience in semiconductor R&D sector preferred.
Data analysis tools such as Power BI and SQL are a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs analysis on built material costs to ensure correct tool valuation and reconciles weekly.
Analyzes Production Order Material Variances and communicates with Operations to resolve issues.
Supports World-Wide Operations teams to resolve systemic issues in Finance attributes.
Completes detailed requirements for monthly/quarterly close: WIP, Finished Goods, Deferred, Eval Inventory.
Performs Financial Modeling and Analysis to support Gross Margin reporting for executives.
Leads Aged WIP Inventory Reviews and provides reserve analysis.
Leads Balance Sheet Review Meetings with Finance Controllers.
Interacts as a direct business partner with business unit executives, delivering analysis and recommendations.
