Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to join the Global Operations & Quality team in Singapore. You will partner with manufacturing operations and sales to implement process improvements, develop qualification plans, and ensure compliant, efficient production of cardiovascular devices.

The role requires a degree in engineering or science with several years of industry experience (or advanced degrees) and strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 4+ years of experience in industry or industry/education.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 3+ years of experience in industry or industry/education.
• Ph.D. or equivalent with industry experience or industry/education required.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma/LEAN; redesign equipment, tools, fixtures to meet standards.
• Develop complex experiments and tests; qualify and validate processes; analyze results and report findings.
• Resolve Manufacturing and Compliance issues (CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations).
• Create training and documentation materials for production to enable knowledge transfer.
• Lead project plans to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations; use tools like Project Plan and Risk Analysis.
• Oversee manufacturing support tasks; guide technicians, train staff, and coordinate work.
