Job summary

BIO-PACKAGING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on technician to perform on-site troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on automated machinery to minimize downtime and defects.

You will record breakdown reports, conduct root-cause analysis, calibrate equipment, test safety systems, monitor spare parts stock, and liaise with suppliers and agents for repairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC or Higher NITEC in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in repair and maintenance within manufacturing.
• Experience in troubleshooting automated machinery, industrial automation, and plant equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork; proactive and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for automated machinery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform immediate on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for automated machinery to prevent production defects and minimize downtime.
• Record, maintain, and update machine breakdown reports promptly
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective counter measures
• Monitor, maintain, and perform monthly stock checks of critical spare parts
• Liaise with machine suppliers and agents for repair and maintenance works
• Carry out calibration and verification of machine equipment
• Test, maintain, and ensure all machine safety systems are in proper working condition

Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in troubleshooting production machinery, industrial automation, and plant equipment
• Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.

Salary: $4,000 - $5,500
