Job summary

JonDavidson Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Technical Lead (Engineer / Senior Engineer) to drive manufacturing transfers from sites to contract manufacturers, ensuring industrialization, qualification and ramp-up with strong manufacturing performance.

You will lead end-to-end transfer projects, develop transfer plans, coordinate tooling and documentation, support NPI/NPD, and emphasize DFM/DFA/DFT, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI/NPD, Product Transfer, Industrialization, Supplier Engineering, or Contract Manufacturing.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, capital equipment, or precision manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong experience in module and system level test protocol, test stations setup.
• Strong technical foundation in manufacturing processes, DFM/DFA, engineering drawings, BOMs, tolerances, PLM, ECO/ECN, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong project leadership skills with proven ability to manage milestones, risks, stakeholders, and multiple concurrent programs.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead end-to-end manufacturing transfer projects and production ramp-up activities.
• Develop transfer plans, readiness reviews, risk mitigation strategies, and qualification activities.
• Coordinate transfer of processes, tooling, fixtures, test systems, documentation, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Support outsourced NPI/NPD programs and ensure DFM, DFA and DFT considerations are incorporated early.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with Contract Manufacturers and drive supplier capability development.
• Support FAI, PPAP, process validation, copy-exact transfer, engineering change management, and configuration control.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders, project risks, escalations, and executive reporting.
