Role Impact

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support and improve our manufacturing processes, working at the interface between our builders (customers) and manufacturing partners. Your role involves reviewing manufacturability and costs, suggesting design modifications, and helping bring products to market faster across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review models, drawings, and data to assess manufacturing feasibility and requirements.
  • Generate quotes by analyzing data and collaborating with suppliers.
  • Develop cost calculators to streamline quoting processes.
  • Provide design for manufacturability (DFx) feedback to builders.
  • Contribute to software improvements for automated quoting.
  • Generate high-quality 2D drawings following ANSI/ASME standards.
Desired Traits and Qualifications
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Self-starter, efficient time management, able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerancing.
  • Experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, and other manufacturing methods.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training.
