Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer with 5+ years in manufacturing to analyze processes, interpret drawings, and understand BOMs. The role requires strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills and prior experience with precision inspection equipment is a plus.

You will develop test benches to diagnose stage issues and perform root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions, ensuring quality and performance of semiconductor inspection systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to develop test benches to diagnose stage technical issues and cause system failures.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies in high-precision defect inspection equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, read technical drawings, and understand BOMs to support manufacturing.
• Set up experiments, troubleshoot, and perform data analysis to resolve technical issues.
• Perform First Article qualifications for parts and EOL components.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for part quality and process failures.
