Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Manage optical alignment equipment and related alignment methodology for the latest generation of optical wafer inspection tools
- Identify ways to improve yield and predictability of the optical integration process
- Participate in the integration and troubleshooting of the manufacturing issues of the optical systems and subsystems
- Work with suppliers to resolve component/part quality problems in a timely manner.
- Assist Quality and Purchasing departments in driving supplier quality improvements and cost reductions
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master's/Ph.D in Physics or Optics with relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience in assembly, alignment, calibration, system integration, and testing of opto-mechanical subsystems
- Good working knowledge of optical testing equipment such as interferometers, autocollimators, alignment telescopes, spectrometers, etc
- Experience in developing manufacturing procedures and leading a team in assembling, aligning, calibrating and testing optical systems
- Excellent project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- A self-driven individual with keen technical mind, positive attitude and strong team player
- 25% of international travel required
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic), Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years
