Job summary

KLA in Singapore is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer (MDE) to support manufacturing, integration, and sustaining of HV power supply subsystems. The role emphasizes product reliability, troubleshooting, and supplier interface across the product life cycle.

You will execute validation and qualification testing, drive root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield and reliability in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Related work experience is specified for Master's and Bachelor's levels.
• HV systems knowledge and safety awareness are required.

Responsibilities

• Support HV power supply subsystem integration and production ramp.
• Troubleshoot arcing, leakage, insulation, and other HV issues.
• Perform validation and qualification testing for HV components.
• Collaborate with Design, Systems, Manufacturing and Field Service to improve yield and reliability.
• Interface with suppliers on HV components and design changes.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

High Voltage Electrical Engineer (MDE) responsible for supporting manufacturing, integration, and sustaining of high-voltage power supply systems for low-current precision applications. The role focuses on product reliability, troubleshooting, and supplier/interface management across the product lifecycle.

• Support system integration, manufacturing builds, and production ramp of HV power supply subsystems
• Troubleshoot HV issues (arcing, leakage, instability, insulation breakdown) and drive root cause analysis
• Execute validation and qualification testing (functional, HV safety, insulation tests)
• Drive resolution of production and field issues; improve yield and reliability
• Interface with suppliers on HV components; support qualification, issue resolution, and design changes
• Support ECO/ECN activities and product sustaining initiatives
• Ensure compliance with HV safety standards and internal requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Systems, Manufacturing, Field Service)

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience
• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
