KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd seeks an Electronics Engineer to lead development, production, and sustaining of ultra-precise, high-voltage power systems for low-current applications. You will drive reliability through diagnostics, structured RCA, and proactive troubleshooting across the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities include collaborating with suppliers, guiding root-cause actions, and ensuring manufacturability through DFM/DFT inputs; travel up to 25% for NPI training and transfers
Spearhead the development, manufacturing, and long-term sustaining of ultra-precise, high-voltage power systems for low-current precision applications. Champion product reliability through advanced engineering diagnostics, proactive troubleshooting, and disciplined root-cause problem solving. Orchestrate critical supplier and interface management across the full product lifecycle to ensure robust quality, manufacturability, and peak product performance.
Troubleshoot high-voltage issues including arcing, leakage, instability, and insulation breakdown, and drive structured root-cause analysis to closure.
Provide timely technical solutions to Customer Support Engineers during field escalations and customer-impacting product issues.
Disposition non-conforming products and work closely with suppliers on quality improvement, process control, and continuous improvement actions.
Respond to failure analysis requests and provide comprehensive analysis reports to field support teams or customers. Define and implement corrective actions in a systematic and sustainable manner.
Partner with the materials team on product cost reduction, end-of-life component replacement, manufacturing site relocation, and other engineering support needs.
Create engineering change orders for product changes and ensure proper implementation through manufacturing and supplier interfaces.
Be accountable for supplier quality and out-of-box quality yield. Audit supplier processes and quality controls when required.
Support design teams on ICT and functional test setup. Understand product test theory and provide guidance for product repair and troubleshooting.
Transfer test solutions to PCBA suppliers and train supplier teams to handle product build, test, repair, and troubleshooting effectively.
Represent manufacturing in design reviews. Provide DFM and DFT inputs to ensure new designs meet manufacturability, testability, documentation, and production release requirements.
BS or MS in Electronics Engineering, with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Positive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
Able to work under pressure and willing to take on technical and operational challenges.
Strong planning discipline and ability to execute to committed schedules.
Strong knowledge of high-voltage power supplies for low-current applications, analog circuits, noise filtering, signal integrity, encapsulation processes, and related technologies.
Experience with image data acquisition systems or motion control systems is preferred.
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to resolve circuit failures at both bench and system level.
Basic knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to travel up to 25% during NPI training and production transfer activities.
