Manufacturing Assistant / Supervisor - Penjuru Plant

Job Description:

• To plan and coordinate the daily workflow in the section.
• To ensure that all machines in the section are functioning in good condition and operate at full capacity.
• To lead a team of shift leaders and technicians to achieve the section's objectives.
• Lead the Chemical Process Operation to ensure all KPIs requirement (OTD, Quality, Cost) are met.
• Manage and develop production staff to achieve established goals of safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality, service, and cost.
• Ensure production employees are oriented and trained.
• Ensure expectations on production yield, quality, utilization, and cost reduction are met consistently.
• To carry out the daily routine such as manpower arrangement, overtime planning, and resources planning.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement within departmental employees' performance through regular feedback, coaching, and training.
• Manage/audit/liaise with customer/auditor to achieve quality and risk management requirements.
• Key control in production consumable inventory management.
• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
• All other tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/A level Equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Have strong initiative, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
