Job description

You will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing of APIs and databases to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test cases for API and database validations. You will need to identify and troubleshoot quality issues, providing detailed defect reports to the development team. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure testing requirements are aligned with product goals. Additionally, you will be required to maintain and manage documentation for test results, processes, and bug tracking. Providing feedback and support during the software development lifecycle is crucial to ensure quality standards are met. Timely execution of tests and assistance with the continuous improvement of testing methodologies will also be part of your responsibilities.To excel in this role, you should have 4 to 6 years of experience in Manual API and Manual Database Testing. Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in database querying are essential. Experience in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and bug reports is required. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI, as well as database management systems, is preferred. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate findings clearly will be highly valued. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaboration skills are also important for this role.This is a remote position with a shift timing from 4 PM to 1 AM (IST). It is a permanent position offered on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.,
