FIRST KONNECTION PTE. LTD. in East Singapore is seeking an experienced Mandarin preschool teacher to join an enrichment centre.

The role involves leading group classes for infants to preschoolers, with parents present during sessions. Training will be provided in the centre’s teaching approach. You will conduct interactive lessons, prepare materials, and maintain progress records, while engaging parents and ensuring a safe, organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of preschool classroom teaching experience including leading group lessons.
• Clear, precise spoken Mandarin; lessons are conducted in Mandarin.
• Confident teaching with parents present and responding to their questions.
• Willingness to learn the centre's teaching approach and prepare materials.
• L1 Mandarin certification preferred; HSK Level 5 or above is advantageous.

MANDARIN PRESCHOOL TEACHER (ENRICHMENT)

Full time | East Singapore | 4 weekdays + Sunday | Saturdays off
Starting salary: $3,500 per month during 1-month probation
Upon confirmation: $3,900 per month

We're looking for an experienced Mandarin preschool teacher to join an enrichment centre in East Singapore.

This role is suited to someone who already has experience leading preschool group classes and communicating with parents. Training will be provided in the centre's teaching approach.

You'll conduct small-group lessons for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children, with parents accompanying their children. The role focuses on teaching and lesson preparation, with no bathing or toileting duties.

You'll be expected to lead your classes, keep children engaged and adapt teaching materials as they progress.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or an equivalent relevant diploma.
• At least 3 years of preschool classroom teaching experience, including leading group lessons and managing a class. Experience limited to 1-to-1 tuition does not meet this requirement.
• Clear, precise spoken Mandarin, as lessons are conducted in Mandarin.
• Confidence teaching with parents present and responding to their questions.
• The ability to keep young children engaged through active, interactive lessons.
• A willingness to learn the centre's teaching approach, prepare materials and take responsibility for your classes.
• L1 Mandarin certification is preferred. HSK Level 5 or above is an advantage.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

• Full time, 5 days per week: 4 weekdays + Sunday.
• Saturdays and 1 weekday off each week.
• 9am–6pm on each working day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
• Fully on site at one centre in East Singapore.

SALARY

• During the 1-month probation: $3,500.
• Upon confirmation: $3,900.

SELECTION PROCESS

Shortlisted applicants will go through a structured in-person interview, a behavioural profiling assessment and a half-day practical trial at the centre.
