As a professional at Kroll, you will play a key role in providing independent opinions for boards of directors and special committees. Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Generating new Fairness Opinion, Solvency Opinion, Board Advisory, and M&A opportunities from your existing and future network.
  • Engagement Execution: Leading engagement teams, overseeing financial analysis, preparing opinion letters and presentations, and delivering oral presentations to clients.
  • Risk Management: Assisting in the review of Fairness Opinions and Solvency Opinions within the Transaction Opinions practice.
  • Private Equity Coverage: Cultivating relationships with private equity firms, distributing Duff& Phelps M&A product, and meeting opinion needs.
  • Cross Selling: Offering clients other Duff & Phelps services.
  • Staff Development: Mentoring and developing Staff, Vice Presidents, and Directors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience at a bulge bracket, reputable boutique, middle-market, or regional investment bank with demonstrable Fairness Opinion and Board of Director advisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or J.D. degree preferred.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and engagements.
  • Established individual with an existing referral network and prospects of generating revenue in year one.
  • Leadership and effective management skills in matrixed organizations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
