We are seeking an experienced and strategic Managing Director to join our client's Quality team for ongoing transformation projects in the Semiconductor sector. The position is located in the East, with easy access.

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leading player in the Semiconductor sector. Due to business needs, they are recruiting a Managing Director to oversee quality management and transformation initiatives.

  • QMS Strategy & Compliance: Develop and lead the quality strategy aligned with business goals. Ensure QMS effectiveness and compliance with ISO standards and relevant regulations.
  • Policies & Standards: Establish and enforce company-wide quality policies and procedures. Regularly update them to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Audits & Certifications: Conduct internal and supplier audits. Maintain compliance with quality standards and ensure all certifications are up-to-date.
  • Supplier Quality: Oversee supplier quality programs. Collaborate with procurement on vendor assessments and material quality requirements.
  • Product Assurance: Implement quality assurance and testing processes to meet product specifications and performance expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key quality KPIs. Report trends and identify areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives using tools like Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA to enhance product and process quality.
  • Customer Focus: Work with sales and business teams to align quality efforts with customer needs. Manage and resolve customer quality concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of quality experience in equipment manufacturing industry
  • Comprehensive experience in all quality management functions
  • Willing to travel overseas and work on-site during weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to handle stress and long working hours
  • Working hours from 8 am to 10 pm; must be stationed at sites regularly
  • Proficiency in writing reports and communicating in Mandarin only, including reporting to China
