A leading fruit trading company in Singapore is looking for an experienced senior manager to drive growth and oversee operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of senior management experience in relevant industries, excellent leadership and sales skills, along with a strong network in the industry. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. This role offers an opportunity to lead a high-performing team and make strategic decisions for business success.
Job Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
– Develop and implement long-term business strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
2. Sales & Business Development
– Identify new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
3. Operations Management
– Oversee supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
4. Financial Oversight
– Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
5. Team Leadership
– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
6. Market Analysis
– Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and competition to maintain a competitive edge.
7. Quality Assurance
– Ensure all fruits meet quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
8. Customer & Supplier Relations
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
9. Process Optimization
– Improve operational efficiency and implement best practices in fruit sourcing, storage, and distribution.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven leader with the following qualifications:
1. Industry Experience
– Minimum 2 years of experience in senior management roles, preferably in fruit trading, FMCG, food distribution, or supply chain industries.
2. Leadership & Management
– Proven track record of managing and growing a business, leading teams, and driving operational efficiency.
3. Sales & Business Development Skills
– Strong ability to develop partnerships, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.
4. Financial Acumen
– Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
5. Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge
– Familiarity with procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics.
6. Strong Network in the Industry
– Established relationships with fruit suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors is a plus.
7. Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills
– Ability to work with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders effectively.
8. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
– Ability to analyse complex business challenges and implement effective solutions.
9. Education
– Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
10. Language Skills
– Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Malay is required additional language skills are an advantage.
