To lead and be overall in charge of the operations and management of a logistics service provider company in Singapore
Main Duties:
- Collaborate with HQ stakeholders in Japan to optimize existing revenue and growth models and create new revenue streams by developing business strategies
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures based on HQ’s directions and in compliance with local laws and business regulations
- Acquire new business to develop and grow the company with wide range of sales activities.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, requirements and regional market trends, and be able to identify influence and develop contacts at the appropriate levels within the target prospects.
- Identify creative and innovative ways to improve regional consumer satisfaction via company’s strength
- Provide innovative logistics solutions for existing customers under the current fluid Supply Chain environment
- Prepare plans for "project cargo" logistics for various projects in ASEAN region
- Set budget and prepare execution plans for the whole company
- Minimum 15 years of experience in various logistics services, including project cargo logistics
- Good knowledge of warehouse management for semiconductors, electronic components or other electronic service parts
- Minimum 5 years of senior management experience
- Good understanding of finance and accounting standards as well as human resources practices
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong expertise on global supply chain logistics strategies to accommodate shortened lead time and cost efficiency
- Experience in logistics planning for semiconductor supply chain is a big advantage
- High level of proficiency in Japanese language is necessary to communicate, negotiate and coordinate efficiently with HQ in Japan and Japan based customers
