Job description

To lead and be overall in charge of the operations and management of a logistics service provider company in Singapore

Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with HQ stakeholders in Japan to optimize existing revenue and growth models and create new revenue streams by developing business strategies
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures based on HQ’s directions and in compliance with local laws and business regulations
  • Acquire new business to develop and grow the company with wide range of sales activities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, requirements and regional market trends, and be able to identify influence and develop contacts at the appropriate levels within the target prospects.
  • Identify creative and innovative ways to improve regional consumer satisfaction via company’s strength
  • Provide innovative logistics solutions for existing customers under the current fluid Supply Chain environment
  • Prepare plans for "project cargo" logistics for various projects in ASEAN region
  • Set budget and prepare execution plans for the whole company
  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in various logistics services, including project cargo logistics
  2. Good knowledge of warehouse management for semiconductors, electronic components or other electronic service parts
  3. Minimum 5 years of senior management experience
  4. Good understanding of finance and accounting standards as well as human resources practices
  5. Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Strong expertise on global supply chain logistics strategies to accommodate shortened lead time and cost efficiency
  7. Experience in logistics planning for semiconductor supply chain is a big advantage
  8. High level of proficiency in Japanese language is necessary to communicate, negotiate and coordinate efficiently with HQ in Japan and Japan based customers
