Trendlines Medical Singapore operates through investing in, incubating, and providing a range of services targeted to nurture and support Singapore-based entrepreneurs and start-up companies in the medical device sector, leading these from development to commercialization into the global markets.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Manager, Venture Support is a newly created role due to the expansion of activities within the portfolio companies.

As the Venture Support Manager, you will provide support to the portfolio companies and be involved in strategy, stakeholder engagement, and developing product commercialization plans with the management of the portfolio company.

Specifically, your day-to-day activities will involve closely working directly with the portfolio companies invested by Trendlines Medical Singapore and providing business management support to the portfolio companies. This shall include monitoring of operational and commercial plans, engagement with internal and external stakeholders on the development milestones of the portfolio companies, preparation and review of investment/grant reports, and working with the management of the portfolio companies on business development activities.

In this role, you will also support the lead board of directors of the portfolio companies in external stakeholder engagement, including the preparation of presentation materials and review of agreements independently or in consultation with the respective companies' lawyers.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in business or finance
2. Good experience in partnership development and project management
3. Prior experience in working with start-ups or early-stage companies will be advantageous
