Responsibilities:
Drive monthly revenue targets for Body & Paint services through effective planning, pricing negotiations, and performance reporting.
Oversee workshop capacity, WIP, outstanding repair orders, and parts backorder to ensure operational efficiency.
Monitor work standards, authorize vehicle services, and implement SOPs for continuous improvement and safety.
Handle customer feedback, insurance claims, and goodwill requests while supporting CSAs with inquiries and complaint resolution.
Manage credit control by following up with debtors and insurers to ensure timely payments.
Prepare and analyze monthly Body & Paint performance reports, including vehicle intake, turnover, and workshop KPIs.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in managing an automotive or mechanical workshop, with proven team leadership skills; prior experience in Body & Paint operations is a plus
Strong customer service skills with hands-on experience in handling insurance claims and related processes
Solid technical knowledge of automotive systems, body and paintwork equipment, and warranty procedures
