Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drive monthly revenue targets for Body & Paint services through effective planning, pricing negotiations, and performance reporting.

• Oversee workshop capacity, WIP, outstanding repair orders, and parts backorder to ensure operational efficiency.

• Monitor work standards, authorize vehicle services, and implement SOPs for continuous improvement and safety.

• Handle customer feedback, insurance claims, and goodwill requests while supporting CSAs with inquiries and complaint resolution.

• Manage credit control by following up with debtors and insurers to ensure timely payments.

• Prepare and analyze monthly Body & Paint performance reports, including vehicle intake, turnover, and workshop KPIs.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in managing an automotive or mechanical workshop, with proven team leadership skills; prior experience in Body & Paint operations is a plus

• Strong customer service skills with hands-on experience in handling insurance claims and related processes

• Solid technical knowledge of automotive systems, body and paintwork equipment, and warranty procedures
