Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Drive the transition from a local to a global transport operating model across the APAC region, including China, in close collaboration with teams in Europe and the USA
• Gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain from forecasting to inventory and from order to invoicing and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to achieve key business objectives and transport-related KPIs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a new global transport operating model, aligning with both regional and local supply chain requirements
• Support comprehensive reviews of end-to-end processes related to transport, customs, and export control
• Lead monthly business reviews with 3PL partners and spearhead improvement initiatives involving all relevant stakeholders
• Oversee regional transport expenditures and contribute to global transport cost control efforts
• Participate in global tender processes, taking ownership of APAC-related requirements, ensuring timely purchase order issuance and supplier payment processing
• Monitor and manage inbound and outbound logistics flows within the APAC region
• Oversee the performance of the operational Control Tower to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Provide regular performance updates of the Control Tower to the Global 4PL Manager and Logistics Leadership

Job Requirements

• Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain and above
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding
• Strong understanding of Global Transportation business
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive change management
