Job summary

RSM Stone Forest in Singapore seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead concept, design, and delivery of flagship events across local and international markets. You'll partner with senior directors, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and manage stakeholders including government agencies and partners to ensure flawless execution.

The role demands strong writing, budget oversight, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, delivering high‑quality events

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience and background in event management, marketing, and/or business development and partnership management.
  • Strong in programme development, project coordination, and budget management.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to create attractive event marketing and promotional collaterals independently
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, exemplary work ethic and a collaborative mindset towards teamwork.
  • Familiarity with protocols for high‑level events involving senior political office holders and business leaders is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Director and collaborate with the team to conceptualize, manage, and provide comprehensive support for the company’s signature events in Singapore and international markets.
  • Prepare timely updates and quality summary reports to Management including operational, execution, manpower and budget plans, marketing materials, registration analysis, and post-event KPI tracking.
  • Develop and manage partnerships to ensure seamless event execution and maximize value for the company and partners.
  • Craft event materials and proposals; onboard new partnerships with internal stakeholders; expand the partner network locally and internationally.
  • Manage ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

Event Conceptualization and Management:

  • Assist the Senior Director and collaborate with the team to conceptualize, manage, and provide comprehensive support for the company’s signature events in Singapore and international markets.

Supporting the development and organization of company’s signature events, such as:

  • Flagship or signature events, such as international and national summits, forums, conferences, and symposiums.
  • Bilateral / multilateral events.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of, and interest in, the key issues affecting the Singapore business community, especially SMEs.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Self-driven, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Ministerial dialogues, high-level roundtable discussions or fireside chats involving Political Officer Holders (POHs).
  • Drive and delivering these platforms through effective event management and event marketing, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, such as government agencies, event partners, speakers, Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs), PR & Marketing agencies, venue and service providers, etc. to ensure successful delivery of high-quality events.

Preparation of timely updates and quality summary reports to Management including:

  • Operational, execution, manpower and budget plans
  • Marketing and promotional materials
  • Registration and participant data analysis
  • Post-event reports, event KPI tracking, and suggestions for improvement
  • Continuous contribution to the improvement of Event SOPs and Operating Models to enhance overall event delivery, enrich participant experiences, and maximize value capture for the company and its partners.

Partnership Development and Management

  • Assist the Senior Director to rejuvenate existing partnerships and establish new collaborations for key events and platforms to ensure seamless event execution, enhance the collective business environment, and foster G2B or B2B initiatives facilitated by the company locally and internationally.

Others:

  • Crafting of event materials and proposals to bolster the Division's efforts in attracting and cultivating new event partnerships.
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate the smooth onboarding of new partnerships into the strategic events.
  • Support the development, management, and ongoing expansion of the database and network of existing and potential event partners, locally and internationally.
  • Manage any other ad-hoc responsibilities and duties assigned by the management.

Additional Notes

As a Manager within the Strategic Platforms (SPF) team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the company’s flagship platforms that convene senior business leaders, policymakers, and key ecosystem partners. You will support the execution and evolution of the company’s signature events while contributing to the design and launch of new strategic platforms that advance Singapore’s business agenda regionally and globally. Your role extends to enhancing the overall delivery of all company events, aiming to enrich participant experiences and maximize value capture for the company and its partners.
