You will play a pivotal role in the Heart Protection theme of the National Heart Research Institute of Singapore (NHRIS) at the National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHCS). Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading, executing and managing a public-private partnership programme.
2. Initiating and coordinating key processes of the programme in collaboration with Principal Investigators.
3. Providing valuable intellectual contributions and strategic insights for the overall programme and its projects.
4. Engaging and managing key stakeholders, both internal and external, across hospitals, research institutions, and industry partners.
5. Overseeing administrative tasks such as facilitating meetings, managing agreements, generating reports, and budgeting to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Science, Health Science or its equivalent with a strong background in molecular and cell biology.
2. Minimum 1 - 2 years’ relevant work experience in healthcare or research setting.
3. Experience in managing budgets and supervising junior staff.
4. Relevant project management certification and familiarity with A*STAR reporting requirements would be an advantage.
5. Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in laboratory and finance management.
6. Experience in preparing and submitting grant proposals, including knowledge of grant variations, submissions, and reporting.
7. Able to work independently, coupled with effective problem-solving and organisational skills.
8. A capable leader who can guide the team, monitor progress, supervise, and manage collaborative research activities.
