What you will be working on:
The incumbent will manage the Booking team which handles facilities booking requests by internal and external stakeholders and provide guidance to the team in their job with the aim to deliver higher standards of service to our customers.Role and Responsibilities:• To manage the manpower needs and scheduling of duties.• To establish and maintain robust procedures, ensuring team adherence• To identify operational risks and evaluate their impact on business operations, implementing process improvements where necessary• To create and implement staff training programmes to enhance team capabilities• To assist in supervising and coordinating a mixed team of full-time and temporary staff• To manage billing operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of refunds• To guide the team in managing exceptional customer requests that fall outside standard guidelines• To assist in the implementation and execution of the facilities allocation framework, ensuring timely submissions and bookings from all stakeholders• To oversee the fair and transparent allocation of facilities across all accounts• To analyse Booking data• To gather information from various stakeholders and identify gaps in current needs.• To compile and analyse data for management reporting purposes• 60% of the time is public facing, corresponding with members of public• To review on current policies and formulate new policies for the new booking platform MyActiveSG+• To monitor and manage billing processes• To oversee refund operations to ensure timely processing• To review booking reports and resolve discrepancies with the finance teams• To implement measures to improve financial efficiency
What we are looking for:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:• Preferably more than 8 years of experience in business management, quality service management or related fields• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong project management capabilities• Outstanding teamwork abilities• Meticulous to detail• Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressureThe level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
