Job description

What the role is:

As a Manager/Senior Manager/Lead Manager, School Campus (Facilities Management) in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a dynamic team serving as an Infrastructure Partner to a group of schools. Your role involves managing facility services and maintenance across various school campuses.

What you will be working on:
  • Manage Integrated Facilities Management (FM) Term Contract(s) for schools, including engaging with school management to establish revised FM processes and overseeing FM operations and service provider performance.
  • Analyze performance indicators using data analytics or visualization tools to identify challenges and recommend solutions to improve building operations, school satisfaction, and engagement.
  • Review consultants’ design proposals and manage infrastructure projects to enhance school buildings for better operational outcomes (e.g., installation of lifts, energy-efficient LED lights, and direct-current fans).
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects, including budget preparation, quotations, tenders, verification of star rates, performance bonuses, final accounts, and administration of payments and claims.
  • Promote partnerships with schools and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality improvement programs, building projects, and services.
What we are looking for:
  • Relevant training/background/experience in FM, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Cost Engineering.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the FM industry and authorities' regulations.
  • Experience in FM services for educational or institutional buildings and familiarity with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactiveness and ability to work independently and in a team.
