This position is for Office of Alumni Relations.
- Administration of Systems
- Work closely with the University's IT office to administer systems for the purpose of engaging alumni.
- Administer OAR's SharePoint.
- Guide end-users in the appropriate use of various systems.
- Provide level 1 tech support for end-users.
- Respond to system- and account-related queries by alumni.
- Database management
- Manage and maintain alumni database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Securely extract and clean alumni lists for outreach and import into complementary systems.
- Ensure matriculation and graduation updates from Registrar's Office are captured accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform analytics and prepare regular reports to senior management, MOE and other relevant organisations.
- Other Roles
- Manage and upkeep OAR's IT equipment.
- Support alumni engagement events, occasionally on weekday evenings and weekends.
- Engage alumni when deployed for events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Recognised degree in Information Systems, Computing or IT.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
- Keen understanding of web and mobile applications as well as Apple, Google and Windows environments.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Office 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Qlik, VPN, Qualtrics, Cvent, Raisers' Edge and Aluminati would be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Able to explain technical concepts to end-users in simple terms.
- Comfortable engaging end-users to solicit feedback and suggestions.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently or as a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Will be required to work occasionally after office hours and weekends to support university events.
