Job summary

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is seeking an analyst to join the Hub Policy & Development Department in the Strategy & Policy Division. You will help formulate, assess, and provide recommendations on the regulation and development of port, ferry terminals and marine service providers to sustain Singapore's hub port status.

You will develop and review economic regulation frameworks, including pricing and service levels, ensure sufficient capacity, monitor port developments,

What the role is

You will be part of the Hub Policy & Development Department in the Strategy & Policy Division. You will be involved in formulating, assessing, and providing recommendations on the economic regulation, facilitation and development of the business of port, ferry terminals and marine service providers to maintain and enhance Singapore's hub port status; as well as the advancement and safeguarding of Singapore's strategic maritime economic interests.

• Ensuring sufficient port and ferry terminal capacity to meet the needs of industry and users/passengers
• Keeping abreast of port developments and assessing impact to Singapore
• Engaging and collaborating with key port authorities on best practices and areas of mutual interests
