Job description

The incumbent is a governor and executor of HR Benefits Policy and an advisor of Benefit and Wellness programs. As a team lead, the incumbent will provide supervision and coaching to the junior B&W team members and lead and manage HR projects in collaboration with other HR functions where required.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the Benefits and Wellness (B&W) strategies to organize and execute quality programs and initiatives in alignment with the HR workplans.
  2. Establish the award criteria and facilitate the reviews for the various award panels. Point of contact for awards programmes organized by MOH and Cluster.
  3. Manage clusters benefits (including Long Service Awards).
  4. Partner with stakeholders to promote employee safety and well-being.
  5. Participate and support committees in organizing clusters key events such as Tribute Nites, Annual Dinner and Dance, Nurses Day and AHPs Day, etc.
  6. Represent cluster in cross-cluster/MOH workgroups on benefits and wellness matters as well as policy administration. Coordinate cluster submission and communicate the relevant information to the institutions as needed for implementation.
  7. Represent cluster to partner with other clusters and union in CA negotiation, discussions and benefit related renewal matters.
  8. Provide advice and solutions to address issues relating to B&W faced by HR.
  9. Ensure consistent HR processes and policies that support the business and complies with local regulations and Group requirements.
  10. Provide supervision to junior team members on operational matters and issues, coaching them to become independent and credible COE partners.
  11. Manage and lead other projects where assigned.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor degree preferably in human resource or business related field.
  2. Minimum 8 years of relevant HR working experience in large organizations particularly in project coordination works. Experience in the healthcare sector, while not a pre-requisite, will be an added advantage.
  3. Proven people management experience with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, particularly in written communications.
  4. Ability to multi-task in a fast changing environment and work under tight timelines.
  5. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint tools for data analysis, building charts, etc.
  6. Good numerical sense with analytical skills, meticulous and a strong problem-solver.
