Reporting to Managing Director, Food System and Supply Chain, the Manager will lead projects related to the expansion of the Food System and Supply Chain in Asia with investments, portfolio management and research in agriculture and food sectors. This is an opportunity based in Singapore, or a hands-on Manager to contribute to the growth a new business pillar and the Wellbeing Economy Investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations: Running the integration of the food supply companies acquired or built across the food supply chain portfolio; setting KPIs to drive value creation of integrated companies and portfolio investment.
- Business development and Investment support: Subject matter expert to support Mergers & Acquisition deals and post-integration to help set up an operating business unit. Identify business partnerships and developments and supply chains to build the business unit.
- Industry Research: Research on latest industry trends including technological developments in Food and Agriculture.
Job Experience / Skills:
- 10 years’ operating experience in Food industry and understanding the inner workings of agrifood, cold-chain, supply-chain with hands-on experience.
- Some investment experience in the Food industry would be preferable.
- Familiarity with both developed and emerging market contexts.
- Pragmatic manager with past leadership responsibility in a medium-sized and/or private equity backed food company.
- Experienced in change processes and a proven track record in the operational, strategic, structural and cultural transformation of companies.

- Hands-on builder who rolls up sleeves; systems thinker linking synergistic businesses; influential facilitator, pragmatist and decisive.
- Receptive-listening skills; able to distil complex ideas clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree business administration, supply-chain business, engineering, finance, or a related field.
- Relevant executive courses and industry certifications.
