Job summary

The Ministry of Health in Singapore seeks a senior policy professional to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic plans for the Chief Nursing Officer's Office (CNOO).

You will collaborate with nursing education leaders, healthcare stakeholders and various ministries to build a competent, resilient nursing workforce and future-ready care models in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in nursing, healthcare or related fields.
• Preferably with 3 years of working experience in nursing education or familiarity with the healthcare industry.
• Post-graduate qualification in education would be advantage.
• Able to work with wide spectrum of stakeholders including nurse leaders and educators in healthcare institutions and institutes of higher learning.

What the role is:

The incumbent is to develop, implement and evaluate the strategic plans for the Chief Nursing Officer's Office (CNOO) so as to support the building of a competent and resilient nursing profession that is sustainable and future ready to meet the health needs of the nation. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What you will be working on:

Development of policies related to nursing education and work related to National Nursing Academy, nursing competency frameworks development and their training roadmaps to support new care model of delivery, Pre-Employment Training (PET), Continuing Education and Training (CET), and building quality workplace-based training, capability building of nursing faculty and Entrustable Professional Activity (EPA). You will be required to work collaboratively with internal colleagues within the Ministry and external colleagues/ stakeholders of Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), healthcare clusters and other Ministries (e.g. MOE) and agencies.
