About the Role

Reporting to the Director of CEIS, you will provide strategic direction for cancer education and information services while overseeing comprehensive patient support initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership, program development, and stakeholder management to enhance patient care and support services at NCCS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional development
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize cancer information and support services
  • Design and execute patient education programs and support initiatives, including workshops, group sessions, and online resources
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders
  • Manage departmental budgets, including planning yearly work plans and sourcing funding for education programs
  • Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through regular audits and reviews
  • Drive patient satisfaction through innovative education programs and efficient communication systems
  • Collaborate across departments to leverage resources and expertise for cancer education materials and programs
  • Establish quality standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee staff development, including performance management and training programs

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Business management, health administration, public health, education or healthcare related fields
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial or equivalent role
  • Strong track record in developing and implementing healthcare education programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
