Manager/Senior Executive - Budgeting & MIS - Oil & Gas Industry - CA

The role of Manager/ Senior Executive - Budgeting & MIS at a leading global petrochemical sector client based in Mumbai, requires candidates with experience in the OIL & Gas industry. Reporting to the Head-Project Finance, your key responsibility will involve the preparation and consolidation of corporate budget, budgetary controls, management reporting, regulatory reporting, liaisoning with auditors, benchmarking, and business analytics.Your major accountabilities will include handling MIS and various reporting related to the Management, preparation & presentation of monthly P&L report (MIS) at field level and Company level, P&L analysis reports for financial decision-making, cost analysis & cost calculation for the company's products, preparation and consolidation of annual corporate budget and long-term corporate plans, regulatory reports preparation, and analysis of company's financial information to ensure operations stay within budget limits.In addition, you will be responsible for preparing presentations for the MD office, responding to queries, preparing monthly MIS incorporating budget, actuals, and projections, suggesting improvements in budget utilization to increase profits, and handling ad hoc tasks as delegated.The ideal candidate for this role should preferably be a CA with 2-6 years" experience in upstream Oil & Gas companies or an MBA/CMA with 4-6 years" experience in the same industry. Desired skills include experience as a Budget Manager or Budget Analyst, proficiency in financial, accounting, and statistical software, ERP/SAP, MS Excel, forecasting, and data analytics methods. Excellent analytical, numeracy skills, attention to detail, familiarity with best practices and regulations in accounting and financial areas, ability to present budget and fiscal data clearly, and a degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant areas are essential.The relevant experience required for this position is a minimum of 2-6 years depending on experience and caliber.
