A regional health system office in Singapore is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager/Manager for Learning System to drive the development of their learning management system. The candidate will define strategies, lead procurement efforts, and supervise the Learning System Support team. Relevant qualifications and a minimum of one year experience in product management for IT systems are essential for this role.
As a Senior Assistant Manager/Manager for Learning System, you will drive and manage the development of NUHS RHSO learning management system based on the key outcomes defined by the System Owner. The appointment holder is also expected to supervise and work closely with the Learning System Support team in day-to-day and operational work.
Job Responsibilities
Defining the strategy and roadmap for RHSO’s learning management system and needs based on the Key Outcomes (KOs) and charting overall direction (vis-à-vis product road mapping) for the learning management system in consultation with System Lead and the System Owner
Leading the efforts in procurement, contract review, data protection for the learning management system
Supervising, supporting and working with Learning System Support team in day-to-day and operational work, and in engendering a pleasant and efficient working culture
Leading Learning System Support team in working towards the KOs
Liaising and working with stakeholders in onboarding of new course administrators, course development and course enrolment
Developing new use cases for the learning management system, such as in the research and development of new courseware
Developing, enhancing, enforcing and reviewing processes/workflows to guide the operations of the learning management system
Conducting regular user interface/user experience (UI/UX) reviews
Liaising with the vendor on any system improvements/enhancements and any other applicable communication e.g. supporting the vendor in conducting a system usability review
Growing in his/her role as team lead (s)/product manager (s) with the organization
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in a related field
Relevant working experience in product management for IT or learning management systems (1 year min), with previous deployment of educational IT resources as a plus
Relevant leadership experience
Experience in managing interactions and integration across different departments/teams
Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team member
