Job Description
- Portfolio Management:
- Collect data on the performance of the renewable energy asset portfolio owned by the organization and the investors connected with the organization.
- Analyze the variance of actual portfolio P&L vs. budgeted P&L.
- Work with the operations team to improve the yields of the portfolio.
- Prepare detailed reports for management.
- Deal Flow Generation and Database Management:
- Source profitable investment opportunities by developing a channel partner network of financial intermediaries, consultants, brokers, and EPCs.
- Gather relevant data to analyze project viability.
- Maintain the database as per internal policies.
- Financial Modeling:
- Assess the off-taker's creditworthiness and research their litigation and financial background.
- Provide detailed reports for approval of potential off-takers.
- Decide upon the ROI for projects.
- Use the company's financial model to generate power tariffs for greenfield projects based on inputs from various teams.
- Acquisition Opportunities:
- Analyze acquisition opportunities from a techno-commercial basis by evaluating PPAs, existing contracts, past asset performance, and asset quality.
- Work with management to decide on ROI and acquisition prices.
- Channel Partner Meetings:
- Prepare for meetings through structured research about target investors/channel partners.
- Conduct effective meetings to understand partner experience, background, preferences, ticket sizes, and ecosystem.
- Position Artha Energy Resources as the best partner.
- Conversion:
- Negotiate win-win deals.
- Maintain profitability as per management guidelines.
- Channel Partner Coordination:
- Write professional emails to record discussions and updates.
- Act as the interface between the channel partner and operations team from term sheet to deal closure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy investments or channel partner development for solar projects.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong persuasion and rapport-building skills.
- Passion for creating impact with a win-win philosophy.
