Job summary
A prominent banking institution in Singapore is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance and manage risks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 6-10 years of experience in the banking or financial industry, preferably with a focus on financial crime compliance. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. This position involves leading compliance programs and developing frameworks to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree holder or relevant professional qualification.
- 6-10 years of experience in banking or financial industry with compliance exposure.
- Experience related to financial crime compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities :
- Support Head, Regulatory Monitoring and Testing, Singapore to manage the overall general regulatory risks of Maybank Singapore Limited.
- To lead, design and execute surveillance programs that provide independent assurance on the state of regulatory compliance on key laws and regulations covering Banking Act, SFA, FAA, PDPA etc in accordance to the regulations, direction and risk appetite of Group Compliance and Singapore Senior Management.
- Develop, review and implement compliance (excluding FCC) framework and strategies.
- To identify areas of enhancement to Compliance’s monitoring/testing methodologies on the monitoring plan/program
- Develop robust compliance (exclude FCC) policies, procedures and processes to manage the risks from all business and operations segments.
- Lead the execution of quality monitoring programs, including FCC areas
- To develop tools, aids and reports to facilitate the conduct of monitoring program and improve the quality of assurance output.
- To ensure timely delivery of planned program through proper scheduling and supervision of progress.
Requirements :
- Minimum Bachelors degree holder or relevant professional qualification.
- Degree in law or ICA Diploma is advantageous.
- 6-10 years experience in banking or financial industry with exposure in business, risk, compliance, operations or audit, preferably with experience related to financial crime compliance
